PNI's unique and patented technology brings unparalled detection sensitivity in an incredibly low-power package, giving you cordless convenience without sacrificing an ounce of performance. The Cordless Traveller was developed from the ground up to be a superior radar detector The bi-laminar antenna (patent pending) is constructed of two sheets of copper, which dramatically intensify the incoming signal. Other manufacturers use only one detector made of cast aluminum. Your benefit is an increased signal to noise ratio. That means you'll recognize speed traps sooner. Our (patent pending) FET (field effect transistor) resistive mixer allows the Traveller to process signals faster and more accurately. Other manufacturers are still using mixer diodes and oscillators. As a result, you get fewer annoying false alerts and considerably faster detection response. Also, FET circuitry consumes less power, providing much longer battery life. So you get portability, a clean dash, and the superior radar performance in one package.
